History

San Francisco, California was originally a Spanish and Mexican mission and pueblo. Before the European invasion, two groups of Native Americans—the Ohlone and the Miwok—lived in the area. It was conquered by the United States in 1846 and later on by an army of invading gold prospectors following the discovery of the precious metal by a man named James Marshall in its hinterland in 1848. San Francisco's waterworks began in 1857 and its transcontinental railroad was completed in 1869. During the late 19th century, San Francisco continued to develop. The first cable car service began in Clay Street in 1873 and by 1900, the city had a population of over 300,000.

A boiler is a closed vessel used to produce hot water or steam. One question that often crosses people's minds is whether or not it is necessary to prepare a boiler when transitioning from winter to summer season. If you live in an area where the weather is not extreme, there is not a big difference between the demands of winter and the demands of summer. If you right on schedule with your boiler maintenance, your system will be ready for any season. If you want to make sure your boiler is ready for the hot weather, call on the professionals at Gotelli Boilers & Heating. They will make sure your equipment is in perfect condition.
